Giblet Gravy

Turkey Giblet Gravy
Traditional Homemade Giblet gravy. A few years before my Mom passed away I made a point to sit down with her and pick her brain for all the family recipes. Mom never used recipes, she was the type that said, a handful of this and smidgen of that! My original handwritten recipe is yellowing and has gravy stains all over it, love it!

Instructions
  1. In a heated skillet, add the turkey pan dripping and slowly add the flour. Stir constantly until smooth and browned.
  2. Add the broth and giblets. Lower heat and stir frequently so not to scorch the gravy.
  3. Salt and pepper to taste.
Recipe Notes

Serve drizzled on fluffly mashed potato's! Gravy sounds so simple yet it took me years to get it right. It's all in the technique and seasoning.
Can substitute chicken drippings and giblets.
